Les Vergers

Spécialités: Asparagus, Valaisanne plate, Fondue, Raclette

Site: family restaurant since 1921. An old building by the side of the cantonal road, in the centre of the wine-growing village of Leytron. Village bistro, restaurant, gourmet room, carnotzet and shady garden.

Valaisian cuisine: fondues and cheese croûtes. Tartiflette (a dish of potatoes, diced streaky bacon, and onions, topped with melted Valaisian tomme cheese). Orchard platter. Seasonal specialities. Winter: « easy raclette » with a small raclette grill on the client’s table. April to May: asparagus from Saillon. Wines from the wine-growers of Leytron and the region.
