AOP Valais pear eau-de-vie

From the orchard to the glass, the intensity of a Poire Williams…

Area of origin: The Valais.

Composition: Valais pear eau-de-vie is made from 100 % Valais Williams pears. The minimum alcohol content is 40 % by volume.

Appearance, taste/flavour: the eau-de-vie is clear with an intense pear flavour.

To enjoy: after a good meal, as a dessert with a pear sorbet, in a cocktail or in a cake.

Seasonality: On sale throughout the year

Suggested serving temperature: 8 to 12 °C.

Conditions and length of preservation: indeterminate, store in a dry place, away from the light.

The Valais region is par excellence the land of the Williams pear.

This variety has been developed specifically for the production of eau-de-vie as its flavour, its finesse and its bouquet combine to produce a fruity, delicate and simply wonderful spirit.

The AOP label guarantees the source of the fruits and the distillation process. All eau-de-vie are blind tasted and are subject to chemical analysis before earning the right to carry the label.
